Colonial Flat Iron Hunt Club Inc.
Welcome to Colonial Flat Iron Hunt Club, a Virginia hunt club founded in 1970. The Founding Club's name was "Colonial Sportsman League" before it merged with "Flat Iron Hunt Club" in 1976 to create the current club name of "Colonial Flat Iron Hunt Club". Our base hunt club is in Red House, Virginia located in Charlotte County. We lease over 3,500 acres of pristine hunting land with 500 acres of it being crop land as well as food plots maintained by CFIHC. We have over 100 permanent stands located through out the property with 35 miles of ATV trails to get to them. Wildlife such as bear, boar, bobcat, coyote, deer, rabbit, squirrel, and turkey roam the property.
CFIHC is a NON DOG hunt club that encourages the whole family to hunt. We have a spring and fall work party that each last for 2 days over a weekend in which we maintain and mark trails, fix treestands and perform other tasks around camp. This is a great time to explore the hunt club, get some exercise and meet some of the CFIHC members. As a member, you have the ability to bring down an RV or camper to spend the night and possibly leave one on site permanently. We have a 100 yard shooting range and a walk-in cooler to get game out of the elements and cooled down immediately. We limit all of this to 80 active paying members, not counting founding or lifetime members, for a low annual fee.
